On April 17, 2026, the Terrikon Valley IT Hub in Karaganda hosted the "MedicalNonHackathon" Olympiad, organized as part of the Hematology Center Days.

The event brought together 30 senior students from Karaganda Medical University (KMU) who are interested in professional development and exploring the field of Hematology.

The Hematology Center serves as a clinical base for both Karaganda Medical University and Semey Medical University, training residents and young hematologists. This hackathon provided a vital platform for future specialists to learn more about educational opportunities, working conditions, and career growth prospects at the Center.

During the MedicalNonHackathon, participants tackled practical case studies, demonstrating analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and teamwork. The primary goal of the event was to identify talented, proactive, and promising students who may choose to pursue a career in hematology in the future.

The Hematology Center extends its gratitude to all participants and faculty members for their interest and active involvement. We would also like to give a special thanks to Azaliya Yermekovna Turgunova, a young hematologist at our Center, for her invaluable assistance in organizing the event.
