It will be held in a hybrid format: offline for residents of Karaganda and online for all other participants. The topic is Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML).
The Patient School program covers everything you need to know about chronic myeloid leukemia: description of the disease, symptoms, causes, risk factors, diagnosis and treatment at all stages, as well as lifestyle recommendations for patients with CML. Lectures will be delivered by experienced and highly qualified doctors of the Hematology Center — Meruert Seriktaevna Sataeva, Mikhail Sergeevich Fominykh, and Gulmira Alievna Alina. In addition to lectures, the program includes time for answering patients’ questions.
The organizer of the School is the NGO “Association of Patients with Hemoblastosis.” The President of the Association, Lezzet Alikovna Akhmedyarova, will speak about the organization’s activities and the main challenges faced by patients with CML.
